چکیده

Phytoremediation technology has been widely used for the remediation of heavy metals in soil due to its favorable environmental and ecological effects, but establishing a single phytoremediation can result bottlenecks, such as long cycle, low biomass, difficulty root absorption. At present, inoculation with microorganisms that could assist plants their contaminated soils is attracting increasing attention. Therefore, this study we selected ryegrass Bacillus thuringiensis (SY) analyzed effects SY on growth ryegrass, including accumulation Cd changes metal forms, content rhizosphere soil, using pot experiments. The results indicate promotes development cadmium plants. In addition, increased levels nutrients activities urease, sucrase, alkaline phosphatase. This reveals use improves efficiency cadmium-contaminated supports application potential technology.

Assessment of the use of industrial by-products to remediate a copper- and arsenic-contaminated soil.

Two water treatment sludges (WTS-A, WTS-B), two red muds (RM), and red gypsum (RG), all rich in iron oxy-hydroxides, were added to a soil highly polluted with As and Cu at 2% (w/w) to reduce metal bioavailability. Because the amendments increased soil pH to approximately 6, a lime treatment to the same pH and an unamended treatment were included for comparison. All the amendments had significan...

Using poly-glutamic acid as soil-washing agent to remediate heavy metal-contaminated soils.

The extraction efficiency of heavy metals from soils using three forms of gamma poly-glutamic acid (γ-PGA) as the washing agents was investigated. Controlling factors including agent concentrations, extraction time, pH, and liquid to soil ratio were evaluated to determine the optimum operational conditions. The distribution of heavy metal species in soils before and after extraction processes w...

Use of solvent extraction to remediate soils contaminated with hydrocarbons.

The main objective of this research is to exploit the possibility of using an ex situ solvent extraction technique for the remediation of soils contaminated with semi-volatile petroleum hydrocarbons. The composition of the organic phase was chosen in order to form a single phase mixture with an aqueous phase and simultaneously not being disturbed (forming stable emulsions) by the soil particles...

Phytoremediation of soil contaminated with cadmium, copper and polychlorinated biphenyls.

A pot experiment and afield trial were conducted to study the remediation of an aged field soil contaminated with cadmium, copper and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) (7.67 +/- 0.51 mg kg(-1) Cd, 369 +/- 1 mg kg(-1) Cu in pot experiment; 8.46 +/- 0.31 mg kg(-1) Cd, 468 +/- 7 mg kg(-1) Cu, 323 +/- 12 microg kg(-1) PCBs for field experiment) under different cropping patterns. In the pot experimen...

Biosorption of heavy metals by Bacillus thuringiensis strain OSM29 originating from industrial effluent contaminated north Indian soil.

The study was navigated to examine the metal biosorbing ability of bacterial strain OSM29 recovered from rhizosphere of cauliflower grown in soil irrigated consistently with industrial effluents. The metal tolerant bacterial strain OSM29 was identified as Bacillus thuringiensis following 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis. In the presence of the varying concentrations (25-150 mgl(-1)) of heavy met...
